NGII installed trimble''s VRS system.
Nice to visit web site. We installed VRS(Virtual Reference Station System) in our 24h GPS continuously operating reference stations(CORS). We changed SUWN (IGS site)''s receiver from trimble 4700 to trimble NETRS. and equipped with Trimble''s VRS system. At the same time of changeing 2 other stations (CORS) with new NETRS receivers, now testing is been doing. Trimble''s expert trained our staffs, we learned about the new GPS survey system today. Tomorrow the training program will be continued, Next week Japan expert who specialized at VRS, will visit to teach us. Every year, We''ll invest 300,000 $ the other stations located on all over the country until 2010. Maybe other organizations related surveying & mapping will introduce that system. Because NGII is a leading institute at that field in south korea.
