Observation and Data processing of Geodetic VLBIGeodetic VLBI observations are consisted of 3 steps ; 1. Observation, 2. Correlation processing and data analysis and 3. Co-location. Details are as follows.

 ObservationGeodetic VLBI observations are carried out by IVS campaigns. With these observations, the precise position for Korea and contribute to various calculations such as the earth rotation parameters and crustal movements can be determined. |

Correlation processing and Data analysis The signal time delays are calculated by correlation and analysis of result data at IVS correlation centers and data analysis centers. Space Geodetic Observation Center carry out data quality assurance test and analysis. |

Colocation survey Colocation survey measures two different geodetic system(VLBI and GNSS) by ground measurements using total station. The relative positioning can be determined by colocation survey. Colocation survey is required to determine national control point from the data of VLBI observations. Colocation survey is carried out periodically. |
