I am currently living in Korea and as a side project I contribute to OpenStreetMap.org. I have been helping to add information on Korea to the map. Most of my input data is self-surveyed.
I was wondering if you could provide a data file that I could use to add Korea's administrative boundaries to OpenStreetMap.
Level 1 administrative boundaries (provinces/-do) is needed first, but it would also be very helpful to have Level 2 boundaries or deeper (-gu, -dong, -myeon, -ri).
This data would have to be compatible with a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.
In keeping with the open-source nature of the OpenStreetMap project.
If you can provide a data file, in a GPX, KML, CSV, GeoJSON, or Shapefile format, it would be very useful. (Other formats could also be used but would require more work.)
If you could help us make a better opensource map of Korea, I and the rest of the mappers in Korea would be very grateful.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
